The Asian Grass Frog is a common nocturnal frog of rice paddies, forest clearings, parks and gardens.
A vertebral stripe may or may not be present.
Recent studies have shown that there are many (sub)species within the Fejervarya limnocharis group.
The population from Bali may possibly be a different species than the ones in Thailand (see here).
