Broad-billed Sandpiper

Description:

The Broad-billed Sandpiper is a bit smaller than the Dunlin, with slightly shorter legs.
More noticeable are the heavier bill which at the tip points down slightly, and the double eyebrow stripe that give the bird a snipe-like appearance.
The Broad-billed Sandpiper is a rare bird in The Netherlands.
So is the Temminck's Stint, which is the smaller bird on the right.
