This Common Wall Lizard immediately caught my eye because it has two tails.
Many lizard species can shed part or all of their tails when a predator attacks.
Lizards that lose and regrow their tails can grow back more than one tail, sometimes even three or more appendages.
Those multiple tails appear a lot more often than you might think, scientists recently discovered (2019).
