Description:
According to Michel Laguerre, this species was originally described within the genus Euceron, but all the black and white species were then moved to the genus Galethalea.
This may be changed again, since a large part of these species show genitalia similar to the genus Nelphe (a genus close to Euceron).
This may be Galethalea picoides (only Galethalea species described in Santa Marta) but the black markings seem too narrow.
