Description:
In Hungary, Pyrgus malvae can easily be confused with Pyrgus carthami and Pyrgus armoricanus, both of which also occur in Hungary.
However, Pyrgus malvae can be distinguished from the other two by having a tooth-shaped white spot on the upperside of its underwing.
