Hylarana erythraea (Golden-backed Frog sp.)

Description:

Hylarana erythraea is agile, shy, and a strong jumper.
It is found throughout much of Southeast Asia at elevations up to 1,200m and is also known as the Common Green Frog and Green Paddy Frog.
Hylarana erythraea is sexually dimorphic with the males (up to 5 cm) being much smaller than the females (up to 8 cm).
It is mostly found in thick floating marsh vegetation or bushes, particularly at the edge of ponds, rice fields, ditches and marshes, as well as quiet streams.
