The Lesser Kiskadee appears like a much smaller version of the very familiar Great Kiskadee.
However, the Lesser Kiskadee prefers wetter areas like swamps and has a much thinner bill than its bigger brother.
In addition, it does not sound anything like the familiar "kiss my rear" of the Great Kiskadee.
Instead, it makes rather nasal, buzzy and slurred calls.
