Nettle Weevil

Description:

The genus Phyllobius and Polydrusus include weevils that look alike, but the frontlegs of the Polydrusus species are smooth; those of the Phyllobius species have a little spike that points backwards.
In addition, Phyllobius species have antennae that grow from the top of the snout (clearly visable on the photo's); Polydrusus species have antennae that grow from the side of snout.
