This species is in the genus Prionocera and not Tipula because the segments of the antennae are triangle-shaped and without verticils (long hair-like bristles).
In the Netherlands there are 3 species in this genus: Prionocera turcica, Prionocera subserricornis and Prionocera pubescens which are difficult to identify from a photo.
