Ruddy Quail-Dove

Description:

The Ruddy Quail-Dove is the most widely distributed species of Geotrygon; it occurs in the Caribbean and in Central and South America from Mexico south to Argentina.
Like other quail-doves, this species forages solitarily or in pairs for seeds and invertebrates on the ground in thick cover.
