Small White

Adults can be confused with the Large White (Pieris brassicae) but the black patch at the tip of the wing is much smaller, only spreading a short distance down the wing margin.
As with the Large Whites and Green-veined Whites (Pieris napi), males have a single spot on the upperwing while females have two.

I was quite surprised to find this Small White in Hayarkon Park in the middle of winter.
Having said that, it was the only butterfly that I saw in Tel Aviv during this trip.
