Symphlebia sp. (Tiger Moth sp.)

Description:

According to Michel Laguerre, an expert on Neotropical Arctiinae butterflies, this may be an undescribed species.
It resembles Symphlebia citrarius but it is clearly different.
Another species, Symphlebia rosa, has been described from Colombia but it is only known from the female and this genus is largely dimorphic, so the male is still unknown (and the one on the photo is a male).
