Description:
The Waved Black (Parascotia fuliginaria) is a moth in the family Erebidae.
This moth has a forewing length of 11 to 14 mm.
The Waved Black is often mistaken for a Geometrid moth because the wings are held spread out against the background at rest, as many Geometrid moths do.
This species is distributed throughout Europe, but is a fairly scarce species in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Caught in my self made moth trap.
