White-crowned Sparrow

Description:

Adult White-crowned Sparrows are quite distinctive with black crown-stripes and broad white "eyebrows".
In the South-West of the US, immature White-crowned Sparrows (3rd photo) can sometimes easily be confused with Chipping Sparrows.
However, White-crowned Sparrows have a clear orange bill whereas Chipping Sparrows have a darker, more pinkish bill.
