Yellow-striped Flutterer

Description:

The Yellow-striped Flutterer (Rhyothemis phyllis) is an unmistakable dragonfly with very distinctive wing markings.
Males and females are very similar.
The eyes are reddish brown on top and light brown below.
The thorax and abdomen are dark, slightly metallic, almost black.
The base of the hindwings has a distinctive barred pattern of yellow, dark brown and deep metallic blue.
