Description:
Ectobius is a genus of cockroaches native to the Old World, belonging to the family Ectobiidae (formerly Blattellidae), subfamily Ectobiinae.
The females (length: 12 mm) are usually bigger than the males (length: 10 mm) and have shorter wings covering only 1/3 of their body, while the wings of the males (in the photo's) cover the entire abdomen.
