The Sika Deer is a species of deer native to much of East Asia, and introduced to various other parts of the world.
In 2009, some Sika Deer escaped from a private collection held in Hilversum.
Ever since, they have been able to establish themselves in the wild in the forests between Hilversum and 's Graveland.
