I discovered this little teal in a group of Mallards and Gadwalls.
I recoqnized it immediately as a teal by its small size and knew this one should be an escape because I never saw it before.
Back home I discovered it was a Ringed Teal (Callonetta leucophrys).
These ducks live in tropical, swampy forests in South America.
