Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel

Description:

The Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel resembles a chipmunk because of the stripes on its back.
But unlike chipmunks, it lacks any facial stripes.
A typical adult Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel is a little bit bigger than a chipmunk and its size ranges from 23 to 30 cm in length.
It is native to western North America.
