It is always great to be back in New York! And this time with my wife Marinka and our French niece Eloïse.

Some years ago, we promised Eloïse to take her to New York City when she would turn 18, so just before Eloïse's 18th birthday on 30 October 2017, we went to New York City to spend a memorable week in one of my favourite cities in the world.

Since it was Eloïse's first time in New York, we did the usual sightseeing and visited all iconic spots in the city.
In between exciting bike tours through Manhattan and Queens and hop on hop off bus rides, I managed to do a little bit of birding in the birding hotspot of the city: Central Park.
