Eudonia truncicolella (Crambid Snout Moth sp.)

Description:

Eudonia truncicolella is quite common in Holland but is easily confused with Eudonia mercurella, Eudonia lacustrata, Scoparia ambigualis, Scoparia basistrigalis (rare in The Netherlands) and Scoparia ancipitella (not in the Benelux).
This moth species flies late in the year (rarely in July); usually in August through September.

Caught in my self made moth trap.
