Trichonephila clavata (Orbweaver sp.)

Description:

Females Trichonephila clavata have a body length of 17-25 mm.
Like all other Trichonephila species, the males are much smaller (7-10 mm).
Females Trichonephila clavata can be recognized by their yellow and blue stripes with red on their abdomen.
The spider's bite is poisonous but not fatal.
