Description:
Eucera have a thick layer of fur and are dark in color.
The size of bees in the genus Eucera range from 11–18 mm.
Eucera species are solitary and make their nests in the ground.
As in most members of the tribe Eucerini, the antennae of the males are very long.
Jelle Devalez, a Belgian expert on bees and (co)author of many articles on bees, helped me identifying this species.
