The Lesser Yellow Underwing (Noctua comes) looks very similar to the Large Yellow Underwing (Noctua pronuba) but is slightly smaller.
Furthermore, the Large Yellow Underwing has a black spot on the edge of the forewing tip that is missing in the Lesser Yellow Underwing.
