From 24 - 29 December 2025, my wife and I spent our Christmas holidays in beautiful Sevilla, Spain.

Of course, we thoroughly enjoyed the city's historic sights and the delicious food, but luckily I also found time to visit the beautiful Alamillo Park (twice), which even has a bird hide (GPS 37.416877, -5.994861) offering stunning views over a reed pond.
Here, I was fortunate enough to spot Common Kingfishers and several Little Bitterns up close.
I also saw many Little Grebes, a Western Swamphen and a female Ferruginous Duck that apparently was introduced here in 2021.
