South Africa - September 1997

In September 1997, my wife and I spent our honeymoon in South Africa.
We travelled for 3.5 weeks through this magnificient country.
We arrived in Johannesburg, travelled east and spent 3 days in the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, 5 days in Kruger National Park and 2 days in Hluhluwe Umfolozi National Park.
Thereafter we travelled to St Lucia, Durban and flew to George where we ate the best oysters in nearby Knysna.
We then travelled further west and visited Oudtshoorn, Swellendam, ate the best food in the famous restaurant La Petite Ferme in Franschhoek, walked through idyllic Stellenbosch, visited some wineries and finished our wonderful honeymoon in lovely Cape Town.

I did not have a digital camera at the time, so I only have analogue photos, only a limited number of which have been digitized because the quality was often poor after scanning.
