Hemidactylus frenatus is a small lizard species, native to southeast Asia, that has been accidentally introduced to many tropical and subtropical places around the world via cargo shipments and as commercial feeder food for zoo and pet animals.
It quickly becomes established in suitable habitats.
Hemidactylus frenatus is an arboreal and nocturnal lizard species that is mostly observed on building walls at night time, especially around lights.
